Access and use of http://www.agsx.com.au is subject to the following terms & conditions, and privacy policy. Use of this website indicates that you have read and understood the terms & conditions, and privacy policy. If you do not agree with the terms & conditions you may not access, use or download any part of this website.

Binding Contract

•  A binding contract to purchase exists immediately once the buyer agrees the price and places the purchase order - either verbally by telephone or in person, or online via the ‘I accept the Terms and Conditions’ check box and the ‘Submit Order’ button.  At this time, the buyer assumes all price exposure risk on the goods. A copy of the completed Order Confirmation & Sales Contract is immediately emailed to the buyer. Customers who would like to place telephone orders must establish an account with us first. When placing telephone orders, the contract to purchase becomes legally binding immediately notwithstanding the non-return of the Order Confirmation & Sales Contract.


•  Australian Gold and Silver Exchange reserves the right to refuse or reduce supply to any individual, company or destination for any reason, including but not restricted to, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or description, failure in payment, or where fulfilment of the order may expose the company to unnecessary risk.


•  All items shown are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.


•  Orders can only be placed by people legally able to engage in a contract. Any order placed by you via online, by telephone or in person is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the price (including without limitation the delivery, insurance and other charges) specified by Australian Gold and Silver Exchange at the time you place your order.

•  We don’t take Bullion orders on Australian Gold and Silver Exchange website. Purchases of Bullion products can be made over the counter, by telephone (02) 9222 7888 or 1800 770 899, or email us to our email address info@agsx.com.au. Telephone & Email orders are only accepted for our registered customers.


•  All Bullion prices quoted on Australian Gold and Silver Exchange website are updated only during our business hours Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). These prices are indications of Australian Gold and Silver Exchange’s retail prices, the final prices will be confirmed at the time of your pruchase. Australian Gold and Silver Exchange cannot accept any liability for any loss suffered as a result of any action of any kind taken by any person based on this pricing information and reserves the right to decline any trade involving pricing or inventory errors caused by human errors or computer malfunctions.

•  All prices are correct at the time of issue and are subject to change without notice.

•  Orders of Collectible Coins placed within Australia may be subject to the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. All prices are GST inclusive where applicable.

•  GST is not charged on Bullion products whether sold in Australia or overseas. 

•  Prices of products, services, delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability. The availability of products and services may change from time to time.


•  Transactions via Australian Gold and Silver Exchange website are carried out in Australian dollars (AUD) and processed through an international banking system. International orders are charged in AUD at the exchange rate of the day. Your final bill will be determined by the exchange rate applied by your payment services provider at the time the charge is recorded, plus any fees applied by your payment services provider all of which are solely for your account.


•  All purchases must be paid for in full prior to shipment of goods. At their discretion Australian Gold and Silver Exchange may contact customers to request identification documentation and confirmation of credit card billing address. This is done as a security precaution against fraudulent transactions. Australian Gold and Silver Exchange adheres to a strict security policy and any information provided by customers for the purposes of identification will only be used by Australian Gold and Silver Exchange and will not be sold or forwarded to any third party.

•  Payment for Collectible Coins online orders can be made via Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). There is no Credit Card surcharge for Collectible Coins order. Alternatively you can visit our store to make payment via Cash, EFTPOS or Credit card.

•  For Bullion orders, full payment is due on the same business day of placing an order in which the metal priced has been fixed. Non-payment will result in cancellation of the contract and recovery of costs from the buyer. In the event of non-completion of the terms of the Sales Contact by the buyer resulting in the cancellation of the contract, an administration fee of AUD$150 plus any losses incurred by Australian Gold and Silver Exchange in the liquidation of metal held on behalf of the client, will be charged to the client. Any gains resulting from liquidation of metal will not be remitted to the client.

•  Payment for Bullion orders can be made via Cash, EFTPOS, Bank transfer or Credit Card (2% credit card surcharge will applied to Visa, MasterCard and American Express). If the customer chooses credit card to pay for Bullion orders, the customer’s credit card and photo ID are requested to be photocopied and provided to Australian Gold and Silver Exchange. The credit card must be current and in the name of the customer.  For orders of AUD$5,000 or more, a 50% deposit in cleared funds must be received prior to placing an order which fixes the metal price. For orders of AUD$100,000 or more full payment in cleared funds must be received prior to placing an order which fixes the metal price. Funds in payment must originate from the verified customer’s account.

Customer Identification

•  Under Australian law, Australian Gold and Silver Exchange is required to be able to appropriately identify customers of bullion products. In the case of orders for bullion products placed via telephone or email, all customers must provide appropriate certified identification documents. For companies and non-personal legal entities, these certified/notarized document copies including the certifier’s original signature, must be delivered to Australian Gold and Silver Exchange by mail to satisfy this requirement prior to the establishment of a trading account and the despatch of any goods.  Non-delivery of these ID documents by mail will result in cancellation of your trading account. Individuals in Australia can present their ID documents at an Australia Post branch for verification or have it signed by a registered Justice of the Peace. Appropriate ID requirement for individuals is two certified/notarized photo ID documents (passport and driver’s licence) which give the customer’s full name, date of birth and residential address. ID requirements for all other entities, such as companies, trusts etc, please contact us directly by email: info@agsx.com.au. 

•  In the case of orders for bullion products made in person for AUD$10,000 or more, appropriate original customer ID as outlined above is required before an order can be placed. Australian Gold and Silver Exchange reserves the right to request additional customer identification information, at its discretion. Certified ID documents including the certifier’s original signature must be posted to Australian Gold and Silver Exchange Level 7 Suite 2, 428 George St, Sydney, NSW 2000.

Shipping/Pick up Policy:

•  For Collectible coins orders, we offer FREE standard shipping across Australia, no matter how large or small your order is. This offer excludes any bullion orders.

•  For pick-up orders, you will be notified by email or telephone once your order is ready to pick up in store. When you come to pick up your stock, please present your photo ID (Driver’s License, passport or valid photo ID) to prove your identity. If you are unable to pick up in person, you can arrange for someone else to collect your stock from us. Please inform us by email or telephone that the person's full name who is authorised to pick up and ask the person to bring his/her ID.

•  For Bullion orders, after full payments are received and Australian Gold and Silver Exchange notifies become available for delivery or pick up the customer must arrange delivery or pick up within 10 business days. If available items are not picked up within this time frame after customer being notified, it remains the sole discretion of Australian Gold and Silver Exchange as to when the items can be picked up or delivered. In this regards Australian Gold and Silver Exchange cannot guarantee the time frame for pick up or delivery.

•  For Bullion orders which cannot be picked up in person and all International orders, shipping charges are applied. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. For bullion orders, shipping costs will be shown on the invoice and emailed to you. Orders are dispatched within 5 business days upon clearing of payment. For newly released products the dispatch time-frame is normally 10 working days.

International Import Charges & Taxes

•  Overseas deliveries may be subject to import charges and other local taxes. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customs restrictions may also apply.

Guarantee:14 Day Refund (excluding bullion purchases and in-store purchases)

•  If within 14 days you are unhappy with any purchase made from Australian Gold and Silver Exchange, we will refund the full purchase price, less shipping, when you return it to us. Subject to prior approval, collectible coins purchased can be returned for a refund provided they are returned in the same condition as when despatched. This guarantee is applicable to Online Orders only, and excludes bullion purchases and in-store purchases.

•  Should you require a refund, please send an email to info@agsx.com.au or phone (02) 9222 7888 within 14 days from the delivery of the goods. Approval must be arranged before goods can be returned. Please do not send/return any item to us without pre-arrangement.

•  After approval from Australian Gold & Silver Exchange, refund will be processed within 3 business days once your goods is well received.This refund may take between 1 and 7 days to appear on the cardholder's statement. The time taken depends on the bank that issued the credit card you have refunded.


Your obligations

In using this website you agree to (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the checkout form for your account information and (b) maintain and promptly update that information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current and future use of this site.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and membership number and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security.

Acceptable Use

Any conduct by you that in our sole discretion restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying this site will not be permitted. You may view, download, and print material on this site for non-commercial personal use only. Otherwise, you may not publicly display, perform, transmit, list, modify, reproduce, distribute, participate in the transfer or sale of, make derivative works from, upload or otherwise use any of this site's content or the selection, arrangement or coordination of its content.

You may not transmit, post, or distribute anything that is obscene, libellous, abusive, vulgar, threatening, discourteous or otherwise objectionable, violates any law or rights of any party, or a virus or other harmful material. Users are solely liable for any damage resulting from any infringement of rights or other harm resulting from such submissions.

Commercial Use

You may not use this site for trading, sales or commercial purposes other than for making purchases from Australian Gold and Silver Exchange.

Termination of Use

We may terminate your access, or suspend your access to all or part of the Site, without notice, for any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another user, a third-party Provider, Merchant, Sponsor, Licensor, service provider, or us.

If you no longer agree to be bound by the Terms of Use, you must cease your use of the Site. Subject to applicable law, we reserve the right to suspend or deny, in our sole discretion, your access to all or any portion of the site with or without notice.

You agree that any termination of your access to the site may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that we may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and bar any further access to such files or the Site. Further, you agree that we shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the Site.

Where it is necessary to do so, we also collect information on individuals such as company directors and officers (where the company is our client), as well as client’s agents and persons dealing with us on a “one off” basis. If you provide us with incomplete or inaccurate information, we may not be able to provide you with the Product or services you are seeking.
